About Design Services Company
Design Services Company has been providing residential design services since 1990. Our main focus is new construction design and construction plans, working with clients to design homes that meet their specific needs. Function, livability, and aesthetics are considered when designing homes. We also work with contractors to provide residential design for speculative single family and multi-family homes that appeal to a wide range of the population or targeted demographics.
Designing with 3D software allows us to present the design for review not only with 2D drawings. 3D Images, 360-degree interior views, and virtual walk-throughs are presented to help visualize and give more confidence with the design before proceeding with construction.
Our home designs are located in many Tennessee cities such as Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, Arrington, Leipers Fork, Nolensville, Kingston Springs, Dickson, Mt. Juliet, Gallatin, Winchester and more.

Getting Started
​
The custom home design process begins with a meeting via phone, online or at our office for an introduction and to discuss your goals. Once it is determined we are a great match for your project, a more in-depth meeting will be scheduled to discuss the design scope in more detail. A meeting at your current home is helpful to review and discuss the features you like and the features you feel are lacking. This meeting helps us gain insight into how you and your family live. Also, a site visit to your property is important at this stage. Please feel free to invite your builder to any or all meetings.
Meet The Team
Dianne Shelbrack
Dianne Shelbrack, owner / residential designer, is a 1989 graduate of O’More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee, earning a Bachelor of Interior Design degree. O’More is now part of Belmont University as O’More College of Architecture & Design.
Realizing her enjoyment of creating home designs and providing the drawings for construction lead her to the path of residential design. Working with clients to enhance their visions of a new home and creating a 3D computer model of that home for clients to visualize it before it is built is her passion. She has been a residential designer since 1989.
Dianne was born in Nashville, TN, and has lived in the Nashville area most of her life. She is familiar with many of the neighborhoods, surrounding towns and cities.
Michael Shelbrack
Michael has been a part-time office assistant at Design Services Company since 2014. He takes care of the administrative side of the business. Michael was born in Wisconsin before joining the Army and moving to Nashville after his time in the service.
